The @PeoriaROE48 Spotlight Educator for September is Ryan Lambert from @FCCUSD265!! Ryan was nominated by a community member that stated that he "pushes students to do their best work. He can be found at the school for almost every event supporting every student."
When asked what it means to be an educator, Mr. Lambert replied, "Education is a field that builds foundations for all other fields of study. Being an educator is not singular---I am an educator standing along with my colleagues, custodians, cafe workers, secretaries, facilitators, and our community. WE come together to be one educator for our students. WE build a positive school culture. WE build a safe space and a brave place for our students. It is an honor to be a part of the WE at FCHS."
Congratulations, Ryan! Thank you for all you do for students and the teaching profession.
The fall subsidy windowed opened September 1 and closes October 11. Now's the time to start your National Board Certification journey!
