The University of Illinois Springfield at Peoria is seeking current Peoria-area paraprofessionals interested in joining a Fall 2023 cohort. The cohort will work through curriculum together to achieve a Professional Educators License in Elementary Education Grades 1–6.


Mark your calendars! OSF is hosting a walk-in clinic for school and sports physicals at OSFMG Pediatrics on Knoxville Ave., Peoria on Saturday, July 22.


There are no performances today on the Courthouse Plaza. Be sure to come the rest of the week because the talented students of St. Philomena, Monroe, Peoria High School, Norwood, and Hosanna Homeschool Choir will be on display.

Kellar School came down and sang their hearts out, and best of all, beat the raindrops! Thanks to Dr. Anderson and the wonderful students! Great things are happening at Kellar Primary School.

The Rotary Club of Peoria North invites students to attend their business luncheon 4 times per year. Kyle, Kaden, Cash, and Robbie did a great job yesterday as representatives of PRLC. They enjoyed meeting the Rotarians, having lunch, and listening to the guest speakers.


Regional Superintendent Beth Crider was a judge for the Bradley University Student Expo. This project studied the Theory of Mind with preschoolers.
