Join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Peoria County Health & Human Services building on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. It is located at 2116 N Sheridan Road, Peoria. A public open house and tours will follow until 4 p.m.
All offices within the building will open for service on Wednesday, January 22. The Health & Human Services building will house the Peoria City/County Health Department, Peoria County Coroner’s Office, Peoria County Regional Office of Education, and the Peoria County Sustainability and Resource Conservation Department.
The building was designed by Farnsworth Group, with River City Construction serving as the construction manager. It was financed primarily by the Peoria County Board using American Rescue Plan Act funds and reserve funds from the Peoria City/County Health Department at a cost of $22.3 million. No debt was incurred for this project.
